Like flowers, Children thrive in sunlight!
Hi I’m Andrea and I have loved art, literature and sports my entire life. As early as I can remember my parents took myself and my siblings hiking, camping, swimming and taught us how to play tennis in sunny Arizona. My mom bought me books by the pile and kept me well stocked in classics and Christian authors. My Grandma Vonda showed me how to draw hearts when I was three and later how to paint with watercolors. These are still my favorite things and I do them with my seven kids and all the families we have home educated with for 23 years. There is nothing better than seeing a child’s eyes and mind light up with the joy of new found knowledge. It makes my heart light up too! Every day has the potential to bring light and truth into our lives. We have only to choose the best things that make our hearts sing and our souls rejoice. It’s a pleasure that never fades to teach children and watch their spirits grow in truth and light. Sunlit Minds is my way to share as much light as possible..
